Leveraging AWS for advanced GenAI capabilities
To address their business challenges, our client required an advanced AI-powered solution capable of understanding natural language queries, generating personalized itineraries and seamlessly integrating with various data sources and booking platforms. Our solution leverages Anthropic Claude models hosted on Amazon Bedrock, Amazon S3 for data storage, Amazon Kendra for intelligent search, and Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring and observability, while Amazon SageMaker was utilized for data preparation and notebook evaluation to assess different models during the development process.
This solution features a conversational interface allows users to interact with the AI through natural language queries, fine-tuning the suggested itinerary based on the traveler's unique tastes and preferences. During conversations with the chatbot, relevant imagery is displayed, enabling users to provide instant feedback and refine suggestions in real-time. Then, the discussed itinerary, including dates, destinations, hotels, transportation and activities, is summarized in an overview format that users can save and share easily. Users can pick up where they left off in previous conversations, enabling seamless continuation of trip planning. Pre-defined questions about dates, guests, price range, amenities and other preferences help optimize trip planning for users and next best questions guide the conversation effectively. Finally, once an itinerary is completed, our solution provides a direct link to book the recommended travel arrangements, powered by a proprietary hotel inventory API.
