The client’s managed services team was responsible for generating high-quality, SEO-optimized content for their clients' regional dealerships. However, their content creation process was highly manual and repetitive, leading to compromised quality and limited scalability. To meet the growing demand for content and maintain their commitment to delivering exceptional services, the client had to outsource a significant portion of their content creation to third-party vendors, resulting in increased costs and potential inconsistencies.

AN LLM-DRIVEN SOLUTION

Streamlining Content Creation

The manual content creation process was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors and inconsistencies. Researching and compiling information from multiple proprietary and public data sources, ensuring contextual relevance for each dealership and maintaining SEO best practices were significant challenges. Additionally, the lack of automation and scalability hindered the client’s ability to expand their Managed Services offerings and meet the evolving needs of their customers.

To address these challenges, the client engaged EPAM to develop an innovative, LLM-enabled tool that would assist their content teams in producing contextually relevant content for regional dealerships. EPAM's solution leveraged AWS AI/ML services, including Amazon SageMaker and AWS Claude, to engineer an LLM-driven content generation platform.

The platform ingests multiple proprietary and public data sources, streamlining the research, creation, review and publication process of content. It utilizes crafted prompts and unique specifications — such as vehicle year, make, model, dealership account ID, target audience, market and geolocation — to generate contextually relevant content for blog posts and landing pages.

EPAM integrated CopyScape, a plagiarism checker, to ensure SEO performance meets certain thresholds, including a <15% copy match across the web. Additionally, a real-time user feedback loop was implemented, allowing for the collection, analysis and execution of bug fixes, prompt refinements and feature enhancements.

Results

The LLM-enabled content generation tool has delivered significant business outcomes for the client, including:

  • Operational Efficiency: The solution has resulted in a 20% increase in operational efficiency, enabling scalability and expanding the scope for future Managed Services offerings.
  • Reduced Turnaround Time: The time required for first draft content creation has been reduced from three days to just five minutes for request-to-receipt, per content piece, significantly improving productivity and responsiveness.
  • Cost Savings: The client projects annual savings of approximately $700,000, by reducing reliance on third-party content creation services.
  • Customer Retention: The improved quality and timeliness of content delivery has contributed to increased customer satisfaction and retention rates.
