The SXSW EDU Conference and Festival is a four-day event offering compelling sessions, in-depth workshops, engaging learning experiences, mentorship, film screenings, future-focused competitions, an expo and networking opportunities in Austin, TX.

This year, EPAM’s experts were invited to discuss how machine learning applications can advance the development of accessible educational products by reducing manual labor and improving the overall timeline, product quality and availability for all users.

The session Advancing Accessibility and Inclusion in Education, March 9, at 3:30 p.m. CST, will feature Ashley Kontos, EPAM’s Associate Director, Instructional Design, and will take place in the Austin Convention Center’s Ballroom G.

In this session, you will:

  • Discover how Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) help make educational products available to new groups of users.
  • Compare multiple tools for accessibility testing to learn how to automate compliance verification for about 30% of WCAG requirements.
  • Learn how to make the verification process even more effective by covering up to 80% of the WCAG criteria with machine learning-based automation.

Visit the session page in the conference program to reserve your seat.
