Every year, DevLearn offers thousands of learning and development professionals the opportunity to explore the future of learning technologies, discover best practices and strategies to enhance everyday work, and leave with new inspiration to bring your learning projects to life.

This year, EPAM’s Senior Instructional Designer Taylor Tomanio will host a session on Improving the Learner Experience with UX Strategies. The session will take place on Thursday, October 27, 1:15pm - 2:15pm PDT.

In this session, you'll explore UX design strategies that will improve the learner experience in any course, and walk away with an understanding of the importance of considering human psychology when it comes to viewing online content. You'll explore the three main areas of UX design that overlap with instructional design and how to integrate them into your workstreams. You'll start with information architecture and content organization, moving on to interaction design. And lastly, you'll explore visual design and its impact on a course. You'll leave with the confidence and tools necessary to integrate UX strategies into your courses to enhance the learner experience.
