COVID-19 has profoundly impacted the world around us, presenting us all with an opportunity to mobilize, act for good, give back and help fight the pandemic—#TogetherAsOne.

As a global company, we recognized the need to act with urgency. We made significant steps to ensure the safety and well-being of more than 40,000 EPAMers and our continued operations for hundreds of clients around the world. We also strengthened our commitment to assist our global and local communities—taking proactive measures, donating resources and developing open source contributions to support relief efforts in the communities where we live and work.

EPAM’s Trashly Chosen as a Top 10 App in Google’s Android Development Challenge

With the creation of their Android native app Trashly, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered, recommendation-generating digital assistant, two EPAMers were able to develop a mobile app that demonstrates both social value and machine learning.

Promoting Carbon Awareness

Our engineers have designed EPAM’s own Carbon Footprint Calculator, which helps employees and outside users measure their carbon usage in order to raise awareness of personal impact and encourage a change in daily lifestyle habits to act as responsible “green EPAMers.”
