BIMA Digital Day 2024 Winners Announced: Students Tackle Challenges from Burberry, Microsoft, and RSPCA
BIMA, the UK’s leading voice in tech and creativity, proudly announces the winners of Digital Day 2024. The only initiative of its kind, Digital Day gives 11 to 16-year-olds a unique insight into digital careers, connecting them with industry professionals for hands-on experience. Students take part in a sponsored, nationwide challenge, making it an exciting and valuable opportunity for schools, students, and the wider industry.
With over 200 schools and 10,000 students participating, this year’s event was a major success, thanks to the support of BIMA members, sponsors EPAM and Human First Collective, and challenge partners Burberry, Microsoft, and the RSPCA.
“BIMA Digital Day continues to inspire and empower the next generation of digital talent, and we are proud to have partnered with BIMA for the seventh consecutive year to support this fantastic initiative,” said Kate Pretkel, Vice President, Global Head of Sustainability at EPAM. “Together, we are shaping the digital leaders of tomorrow by equipping young minds with the tools, mentorship and opportunities to explore digital careers. This initiative drives innovation and helps ensure every young person, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive in the digital economy. Congratulations to all the winners – your creativity and ingenuity demonstrate that the next generation of digital innovation is full of potential.”
