Giffey Opens EPAM Office in Berlin
The Governing Mayor of Berlin, Franziska Giffey (SPD), has opened the Berlin branch of EPAM Systems. The city hopes for a strong partnership and a strengthening of the digital industry.
The originally American company EPAM Systems has been represented in Germany for two years. It all started with a branch in Frankfurt am Main. But the branch in Berlin is now to become the main location.
"In Germany we have doubled in size in recent years and we want to continue to grow," explained Dr. Peter Kürpick, Managing Director of EPAM Germany and CTO of EPAM Systems. "In this sense, I would like the city of Berlin to accept EPAM as a new partner."

Die Regierende Bürgermeisterin von Berlin, Franziska Giffey (SPD), hat die Berliner Niederlassung von EPAM Systems eröffnet. Die Stadt erhofft sich eine starke Partnerschaft und eine Stärkung der Digitalindustrie.
Die ursprünglich amerikanische Firma EPAM Systems ist seit zwei Jahren in Deutschland vertreten. Den Anfang machte eine Filiale in Frankfurt am Main. Doch die Niederlassung in Berlin soll jetzt der Hauptstandort werden. “In Deutschland haben wir uns in den vergangenen Jahren verdoppelt, und wir wollen weiter wachsen”, erklärte Dr. Peter Kürpick, der Geschäftsführer von EPAM Deutschland und CTO von EPAM Systems. “In diesem Sinne wünsche ich mir, dass die Stadt Berlin EPAM als neuen Partner aufnimmt.”
