Middle Software Development Engineer in Test Description
We are on the hunt for a dedicated Middle Software Development Engineer in Test who is enthusiastic about leveraging Unreal Engine, C++, and C# to build and maintain innovative testing automation tools and pipelines. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop and optimize automation frameworks and tools while advancing their technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test tools and automation frameworks
- Refactor and clean up existing test automation codebase to improve readability, maintainability, and scalability
- Own efforts to optimize and streamline existing automated test suites, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and efficient test execution
- Plan, design, and implement complex test scenarios, including multi-user distributed automated testing
- Create complex testing automation tools and pipelines for UE using C++, C#
Requirements
- Experience with unit testing
- General understanding of CI/CD
- General understanding of Automation Frameworks
- General understanding of Testing Pyramid
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Excellent knowledge of C++
- Familiarity with C#
- Strong skills in unit testing
- Experience with any API platform (Postman, curl, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of the HTTP protocol
- Good understanding of XML
- Proficiency with MS Visual Studio, Rider, VS Code, or Notepad++
- Familiarity with Windows
Nice to have
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of Test Automation approaches: Data Driven Development; Keyword Driven Development; Behaviour Driven Development
- Experience with any test automation driver: Selenium, Appium, or MS Automation Driver
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Basic understanding of 3D and 2D graphics
- Skills in Perforce, GitHub, any Test Case management system (QMetry, Test Rail, Zephyr, Rally, etc.)
