Solution Architect II Description
We are actively seeking a skilled Solution Architect II to become a key member of our high-performing team at a leading provider of business information, analytics, and outsourcing services.
The position focuses on crafting application, data-centric, and integration solutions with a strong emphasis on Product and Platform architecture practices. The successful applicant will manage multiple projects simultaneously, actively participate in project activities, and leverage a comprehensive understanding of GeoSpatial technologies to deliver innovative and effective solutions across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Drive design and architecture discussions for key projects that include cloud, integration, and on-premises solutions
- Establish the vision and requirements for solutions, evaluate options, and choose the most effective solution
- Present architecture plans to stakeholders, work collaboratively with domain architects, and comply with IT standards and protocols
- Verify and future-proof design plans, involving key partners both internally and externally
- Execute proof-of-concept integration solutions, assess business impacts, and communicate the benefits
- Create documentation and diagrams for current and future state integration processes
- Control the development of solution designs, and submit solutions to the Architectural Review Board for review and approval
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in architecture roles with a focus on development, systems design, or technical architecture
- Strong proficiency in architectural norms and software development methodologies
- Solid competency in comprehending Technology systems, system design, API design, and in database and programming concepts
- Familiarity with architecture methodologies, Business Process Reengineering (BPR), technology trends, and software development life cycles
- Certifications in Architecture such as TOGAF or EACOE
- Proficiency in Cloud Platforms and managed services (preferably GCP and AWS)
- Qualifications in Microservices, Event Mesh, and Data pipelines
- Skills in BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Kafka, Elastic, CI/CD Pipelines, API-First, and Observability
