Senior/Lead Java Developer Description
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical skills, who can lead projects and ensure that development standards and procedures are adhered to.
The Senior/Lead Java Engineer should be innovative, knowledgeable, and able to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Java 17 and related technologies
- Design and implement scalable backend frameworks, primarily using Spring Boot
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enhance application capabilities
- Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability and functionality
- Employ a test-driven development (TDD) approach using appropriate testing tools to validate software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through code reviews, design discussions, and guidance
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java Developer experience
- 2+ years as a Lead Java Engineer
- Proficiency in Git for version control
- Extensive experience with Linux environments
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
- Expertise in using RDBMS Tools and NoSQL databases to manage data efficiently
- Experience in developing backend frameworks using Spring Boot
- Proven ability to implement REST APIs
- Solid experience in writing and implementing unit tests
- Familiarity with a test-driven development (TDD) approach and associated testing tools
- Excellent communication skills, analytic capabilities, self-motivation, and attention to detail
