Lead ServiceNow Developer Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead ServiceNow Developer to architect, develop, and maintain complex workflows and solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, leading a team of developers, and driving the technical strategy for ServiceNow implementations across various modules. Your role will involve hands-on development, integrations, and customizations, with a focus on delivering high-performance and efficient solutions.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform
  • Architect and implement complex solutions using ServiceNow's APIs, including REST, SOAP, and GlideRecord scripting
  • Design and develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Workflows, and Flow Designer processes
  • Manage and optimize platform performance, including troubleshooting performance issues and providing tuning recommendations
  • Ensure platform security and compliance by implementing proper ACLs, security roles, and UI Policies
  • Stay up to date with ServiceNow platform releases and lead upgrade and patch efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and architecture, with a deep understanding of platform capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, HTML5/CSS3, and ServiceNow's client-server architecture
  • Proven experience with advanced scripting, including GlideRecord, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience in designing and implementing Custom Scoped Applications
  • Strong knowledge of Flow Designer, ServiceNow Orchestration, and Event Management
  • Deep understanding of ITIL processes and the ability to implement them effectively in ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with experience managing technical teams
  • Service Portal or Employee service Center experience is a big plus
