Senior Software Engineer Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building AI/ML data pipelines using Python and integrating AI/ML models into these pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of pre and post data processing steps, as well as the ability to work with large datasets and complex algorithms. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our AI/ML infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML data pipelines using Python
- Integrate AI/ML models into data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and model deployment
- Perform pre and post data processing steps, including data cleaning, normalization, feature extraction, and data augmentation
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand model requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for performance, scalability, and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and data engineering to continuously improve existing pipelines
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for AI/ML and data engineering
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in software development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in building AI/ML data pipelines using Python
- Proficiency in data preprocessing and post-processing techniques
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
- Strong knowledge of data engineering, including setting up and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for deploying and scaling AI/ML solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with data preprocessing techniques, including normalization, feature extraction, and data augmentation
- Proficiency in model evaluation metrics and techniques, such as cross-validation and A/B testing
Nice to have
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
