Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to agile product development teams
- Forge robust partnerships with senior stakeholders to align product vision with business goals
- Deeply understand the evolving landscape of K-12 education to anticipate user needs
- Drive the adoption of user-centered design principles across all product stages
- Define comprehensive product roadmaps with clear prioritization based on strategic value
- Champion the integration of innovative design and technical solutions to meet user demands
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring adherence to market-leading standards
- Analyze performance metrics to guide continuous product optimization
- Lead high-stakes negotiations to secure necessary resources and support for projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably within an educational technology environment
- Expertise in advanced agile methodologies and leadership in high-paced settings
- Profound knowledge of user experience design, visual aesthetics, and usability best practices
- Background in leveraging data analysis to inform product decisions
- Demonstrated success in developing educational technology products for K-12 users
- Proven skills in conducting comprehensive user research and translating findings into actionable insights
- Strong competencies in managing cross-functional teams and effective stakeholder communication
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and pivot strategies swiftly as needed
- Mastery of software development lifecycle and proficiency in using collaboration tools
