Lead Front-End Developer (Vue.js) Description

We are looking for a Lead Front-End Developer (Vue.js) to join the e-commerce team for one of the biggest grocery retailers in the US.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining front-end applications for self-service and administration portals, creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces for big data tools and platform components, and implementing and optimizing Vue.js components and features. Y

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end applications for self-service and administration portals
  • Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces for big data tools and platform components
  • Implement and optimize Vue.js components and features
  • Ensure code quality through proper use of linting tools and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end with server-side logic
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience and 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Expertise in Vue.js with TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript core concepts
  • Expertise in SCSS and CSS, including responsive design principles
  • Proficiency in creating responsive and accessible user interfaces
  • Experience with code quality tools (Prettier, ESLint) and best practices
  • Deep understanding of microfrontend architecture and its principles
  • Knowledge of Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern and its implementation
  • Proficiency in GraphQL, including schema design and query optimization
  • Familiarity with microfrontend frameworks or libraries (e.g., Single-SPA, Module Federation)
  • Knowledge of Redis for caching and session management
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or big data technologies
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • B2+ English level
