We are seeking a remote Senior Automation Tester to join our team. As a key member of our testing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based and mobile applications through automated testing. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in automated testing, particularly of web-based applications, and possess a solid understanding of database design and API development. You will be working with microservices and distributed systems, so prior experience in this area is essential.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress and other testing tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
- Work with microservices and distributed systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and design specifications
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing, including user acceptance testing
- Identify, report, and prioritize defects, and work with developers to resolve issues
- Provide timely feedback to stakeholders on product quality
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and tools
- Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives
- Provide occasional after-hours test and/or deployment support
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, particularly of web-based and mobile applications
- Strong expertise in automated testing of web-based applications using .NET Framework and C#
- Experience in database design, including SQL, for creating and managing database schema, procedures, triggers, and views
- Experience with QE/Testing and testing tools such as Cypress, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines for deployment and integration
- Experience in cross-browser testing and mobile testing
- Experience with performance and scalability testing, including user acceptance testing
- Familiarity with Python for scripting purposes
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Performance-Scalability-Reliability (PSR) testing is a plus
