Senior Business Analyst (Checkout and Payments) Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst for the Checkout and Payments sector within our company.
In this role, you will leverage your combined expertise in business analysis and technical skills to optimize our checkout processes and payment systems. This position involves extensive collaboration with business stakeholders, local and regional IT departments, and software vendors to deliver tailored solutions that enhance our customer touchpoints and digital payment options.

Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and document detailed functional and technical requirements based on business objectives
- Develop and maintain BA artifacts, ensuring effective stakeholders management throughout the project lifecycle
- Plan and execute business analysis activities, managing information meticulously
- Assist users during functional acceptance testing and coordinate release updates for new or existing applications
- Take part in the design and implementation of the Next Generation POS initiative and other retail configurations
- Coordinate across internal teams to finalize requirements ensuring seamless interaction between business and technical groups
- Serve as the subject matter expert in checkout and payment systems, providing both post-implementation support and training to end users
- Lead change management efforts by organizing and conducting training sessions in collaboration with Regional IT
Requirements
- Proven experience of 3+ years as a Business Analyst or related role
- Solid background in business analysis activities planning and stakeholders management
- Proficiency in BA artifacts documentation and information management
- Competency in overseeing project implementation from a functional and technical perspective
- Capability to serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Understanding of checkout systems and digital payment processes within a retail context
- Fluency in English and Greek at a B2 level or higher

- Experience in leading business analysts in a team setting
- Previous role in a multinational company involving extensive cross-functional interfaces
- Prior involvement in large-scale digital transformation projects
