Senior Java Engineer Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Engineer to join our innovative team.
The focus of this role is to develop and maintain a multi-tenant knowledge-based set of AI applications, using a robust backend data ingestion/processing pipeline to transform documents into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java and microservices, specifically with Spring Boot, and experience with cloud-native applications and services.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services
- Implement and manage microservices using Spring Boot
- Contribute to the development of large-scale data ingestion and analytics pipelines
- Ensure secure and efficient multi-tenant-based authentication schemes
- Optimize application performance for scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Debug and resolve production issues as they arise
- Continuously improve code quality, system design, and processes
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java and Spring
- Knowledge of Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Background in cloud-native applications and services on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Expertise in large-scale data ingestion and data analytics pipelines
- Capability to design and implement secure multi-tenant authentication systems
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Auth0
- Understanding of Google Cloud Platform
- Skills in Data Software Engineering
