Senior Software Engineer (Java) Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join our team in Sydney to deliver innovative technology solutions across the regulatory domain within the financial services industry. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing transaction reporting solutions for investment banking.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-volume and low-latency Java-based applications
- Develop and integrate RestAPIs and work with JSON data formats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of project tasks
- Work from the office 3 days per week
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Java 11, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with API development such as RestAPIs, JSON, etc
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have
- Prior experience in investment banking, particularly in transaction reporting solutions
- Regulatory knowledge in the financial services industry
