People Operations Specialist Description

We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of everyday people operations activities and provide exceptional support throughout the employee life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employment files electronically in an organized manner, primarily filing documents provided to the People Operation team for filing
  • Maintain all data entry requirements into the organization’s payroll system and ensure up-to-date employee demographic information
  • Process benefit elections for new hires and qualified life events, this would include requesting and reviewing required documentation
  • Create and maintain internal benefit webpages for up-to-date benefit information and webinars available to our employees
  • Create, maintain, and distribute termination paperwork
  • Support People Operations Manager on the development, maintenance, and ongoing review of People Operation process documentation
  • Review documentation for tickets to be created in a shared service model, that they accurately reflect the type of service being requested and that the correct team is identified to receive the ticket
  • Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of human resources (or related) experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment, including prior experience in shared services for people operations support, ideally in a multi-national technology company
  • Experience and understanding of US federal and state employment, payroll and benefit laws
  • Experience working on collaborative projects that involve areas outside of the core team assigned to for day-to-day tasks
  • Problem solver/Critical thinker/analytical skills
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining relationships virtual
