Senior Data Software Engineer Description
We are in search of a Senior Data Software Engineer to enhance our team.
The chosen candidate will be pivotal in creating scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions utilizing AWS, Apache Kafka, PySpark, Snowflake, and dbt. The role encompasses solution development, code review, and adherence to standard engineering practices, including testing and CI/CD. A significant component of this position will also involve performance testing and optimization.

Responsibilities
- Creation of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions
- Undertaking code reviews and adherence to coding standards
- Upholding standard engineering practices within the team, including testing and CI/CD
- Execution of performance testing and optimization to boost system efficiency
- Integration of monitoring and observability capacities into the software solutions
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Data Software Engineering or a related field
- Mastery of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apache Kafka, PySpark, Snowflake, and dbt
- Documented experience in creating scalable, secure, and reusable data transformation and processing solutions
- In-depth knowledge of integration with monitoring and observability capacities
- Past experience in performance testing and optimization
- Comprehensive understanding of standard engineering practices such as testing and CI/CD
- Capability to undertake code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Fluency in English communication skills at a B2+ level
