Data Analytics Technology Consulting – Power BI specialist Paris, France or Remote

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy the Business Intelligence strategy
• Develop, design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Translate business requirements into data models, reports and visuals using Power BI
• Customize and optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability
• Create and manage complex DAX queries, measures and calculations
• Help clients get more out of their existing Data and Analytics projects, identifying the solutions and services based on their needs, constraints and strategies
• Act as Data Technology Consultant and/or Data Solution Architect, working with delivery team in various sized complex programmes
• Help drive technology consulting, architecture engagements and transformation through execution phases and work closely with internal, client and third-party vendor mixed teams
• Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
• Support sales/pre-sales activities by accessing Data opportunities, responding to RFP’s, creating proposals and presentations, establishing relationships with prospective clients, and helping to close deals

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar or relevant work experience
• Fluent in English
• Strong experience in a hands-on Senior Data Technical Consultant, Data Solution Architect or Head of Data Analytics role
• Extensive experience developing and growing client relationships and leading technical Data & Analytics teams delivering end-to-end solutions of different sizes and maturity
• Experience with other Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik), as well as Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Science, Data Management, Data Storage, Data Visualization
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with R or Python for advanced data analysis
• Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI
• Solid experience in continuous delivery tools and technologies
• Pre-sales experience whilst executing and leading on rapid conceptual designs, proof-of-concepts and client presentations

Nice to have

• Certifications: Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server or similar qualifications
