Senior Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer Remote

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer hundreds of existing reports
• Analyze reports usage and assess their efficacy
• Recommend changes to semantic models and report layouts for optimal usability
• Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI
• Optimize data models and ensure performance tuning for efficient data processing
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) for secure data access control
• Document dashboard workflows to ensure alignment and reproducibility

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals
• Background in requirements analysis, SQL, and visual representation of information
• Proficiency in reverse engineering dashboards and performing usage analysis
• Understanding of agile or Scrum methodologies for project management
• Showcase of effective communication and storytelling abilities with data
• Capability to analyze and recommend improvements to existing semantic models and workflows
• Familiarity with tools for optimizing performance and handling data security
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps
• Skills in integrating Power BI with broader Microsoft ecosystems
• Flexibility to implement additional innovative reporting features
