Responsibilities
- Interface and communicate daily with the customer as primary point of contact regarding any delivery issues
- Proactively communicate project status and risks to the stakeholders
- Prioritize issues and resolve bottlenecks
- Manage geo-distributed team. Inspire people to be responsible for the value they deliver
- Ensure a positive, collaborative work environment for the team. Solve people management issues
- Look for opportunities to develop the account. Attending pre-sales activities. Contribute to up-sell and cross-sell
- Infrastructure Upgrade (and planning)
- Co-ordinate with DBA, Linux/ AIX team, Windows Team
- Planning and coordination for monthly/ quarterly patching activities for infrastructure components – OS, DB
- Change Management, Incident Management, Service Management (MSR, WSR - create, participate)
- Support Platform & Application Releases
- Operational Recovery and Disaster Recovery Testing
- Planning, Co-ordination with various stakeholders, Execution
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience delivering services or projects in support, integration, security, and DevOps areas as a manager, e.g. Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Team Leader
- Solid understanding of ITIL framework (Service Operations) and Agile practices (Kanban\Scrum)
- Deep understanding of SDLC processes, related development practices, and toolset
- Experience in setting up service projects
- Ability to manage a team of 10+ people and resolve people management issues
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to set effective communication with clients and internally
- Work without supervision, ability to make decisions, and have effective communication with high management
