Java Developer Description
We are currently looking for a Regular Java Developer to join our team of great and experienced developers.
You will be part of the Integrations team, which is responsible for integrating new partners and maintaining and monitoring existing services supporting these integrations. This role is essential in building a service that partners with hardware providers, empowering our customers to charge quickly and conveniently using an app.
With a hybrid working model from the EPAM office in Gdansk for 2 days per week, this position is ideal for someone ready to impact a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
- Plan and build new microservices with a strong, supportive team
- Enhance technical capabilities in alignment with the company's missions and goals
- Implement automated testing strategies to expedite delivery and enhance product quality
- Propel product innovation under the "Empowered teams" product leadership strategy
- Assume shared responsibility for team goals and product quality
- Develop complex solutions as part of a global leader in the parking industry serving millions of users
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Microservices architecture
- Extensive knowledge of and background in Object Oriented Programming on the JVM
- Competency in CI/CD processes
- Understanding of Message Brokers such as Kafka
- Capability to work in a distributed team environment
- Knowledge of deployment tools: Docker and Kubernetes
- Qualifications in using PostgreSQL, ORM (Hibernate), and migration tools (Flyway or Liquibase)
- Skills in testing with tools like JUnit, Mockito and performing E2E and integration tests
