We are seeking a Java Automation Test Engineer to join our team.

As a Java Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in creating effective acceptance and integration test automation scripts, integrating with Continuous Integration (CI) tools, and ensuring the quality of our software development process.

Responsibilities

  • Create and integrate acceptance and integration test automation scripts with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins/Bamboo
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to lead multiple test paths simultaneously
  • Contribute to test strategies and frameworks, leveraging your expertise in API and BDD
  • Participate in test planning and estimations, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, usability, compatibility, accessibility, and regression testing
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile team, contributing to the continuous improvement of our software testing process

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in coding Core Java and Selenium
  • Strong knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
  • Expertise in API and BDD frameworks
  • Experience in building and using automation frameworks with technologies such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, Soap UI, REST, JSON, XML, and Eclipse IDE
  • Proven experience in JBehave or BDD (Cucumber) framework, as well as Functional, Usability, Compatibility, Accessibility, and Regression testing
  • Knowledge of common tools/technologies used in testing, including SQL, XML, JSON, Fiddler, Postman, and HP ALM
  • Understanding of client-server architecture and communication principles, with basic knowledge of SQL and UNIX
  • Experience working in an Agile team
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
