SAP FI Consultant Description
We are seeking a skilled SAP FI Consultant to join our team.
As a key member, you will be the first point of contact for stakeholders, responsible for receiving and evaluating their requirements. Your role will involve the continuous development of processes in SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring alignment with business needs, and translating functional specifications into technical solutions utilizing SAP core capabilities. You will drive medium to big-sized projects, collaborate with consultants from other modules, provide end-user training, and support knowledge exchange within the team.
Responsibilities
- Receive and evaluate stakeholder requirements
- Develop and enhance processes in SAP S/4 HANA, aligning them with business needs
- Transform functional specifications into technical solutions using SAP core capabilities
- Manage small to medium projects, including planning, solution design, development, and implementation of technical solutions
- Collaborate effectively with consultants from other modules, such as SD and MM
- Provide end-user training and support knowledge exchange within the team
- Work independently, acting as a subject matter mentor for junior team members
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience implementing technical solutions in SAP FI/CO modules
- Strong understanding of E2E business processes and systems integration
- Experience in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP FICO and other financial systems and tools
- Extensive experience in MEC and YEC activities, including FX valuation, Allocation, and Accrual Engine
- Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, decision-making, project management, and conflict resolution skills
- S/4 HANA experience
- Familiarity with additional SAP modules such as Group Reporting and Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation
- Ability to present and communicate fluently in English, with German language proficiency being a plus
