Chief .NET Developer Description

We are seeking a seasoned Chief .NET Developer to join a newly established product-oriented development team (POD).

In this role, you will collaborate with a client-side team comprising a Product Owner and Technical Lead to design, build, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable features using a diverse tech stack, including .NET Core, C#, Vue.js, ReactJS, Python, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and DocumentDB. A key aspect of this position is ensuring the application operates efficiently within the AWS environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in full-stack development, a commitment to delivering robust solutions, and thrives in an Agile, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement functionality for Customer Specific Keys (CSK) across multiple applications
  • Leverage AWS services like AWS Secrets Manager for secure key management and automated rotation
  • Ensure the secure storage, retrieval, and encryption of sensitive client information across systems
  • Maintain compliance and enforce security protocols throughout all development processes
  • Analyze and enhance existing applications to support CSK solutions
  • Refactor and optimize codebases to meet scalability and performance objectives
  • Improve data models and streamline database queries to enhance system efficiency
  • Address technical challenges and ensure seamless integration and performance in the AWS environment
  • Design and establish effective logging and traceability systems using appropriate tools and frameworks
  • Apply microservices architecture principles and use AI-driven tools for code optimization where applicable
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are adhered to during the migration process
  • Collaborate with client-side teams to align on objectives and successfully deliver project outcomes

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional experience in .NET and .NET Core development
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams and managing projects
  • Participation in at least two full project lifecycles or involvement in multiple projects across different development stages
  • Expertise in back-end development with a focus on writing modular, maintainable, and testable codebases
  • Extensive experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and DocumentDB, including schema design, query optimization, and configuration management
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement CSK solutions with secure key storage, retrieval, and rotation mechanisms
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, Fargate, and SQS
  • Proficiency in implementing logging, observability, and traceability in .NET applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in team environments
  • Advanced English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and verbal

Nice to have

  • Previous experience implementing CSK solutions
  • Knowledge of AWS Secrets Manager, key rotation processes, and related security practices
  • Experience collaborating with client-side teams
  • Familiarity with product ecosystems consisting of multiple applications built using diverse tech stacks
  • Hands-on experience with Python development
