Senior Python Engineer Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer to join our dynamic team at EPAM Vietnam.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate a rapidly growing engineering team to design and build complex systems from the ground up.
If you possess deep Python knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a robust engineering mindset, you are the ideal candidate for this position.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend solutions ensuring high performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, architecture, and implementation strategies
- Implement and maintain APIs, databases, and other backend services, adhering to best practices and industry standards
- Lead end-to-end application deployment processes, including configuration, optimization, and monitoring of infrastructure resources
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend components, identifying and resolving issues on time
- Implement (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in backend development, AI, and testing methodologies
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and designing modern applications in Python
- Familiarity with one of the Cloud data services: AWS, Azure, GCP, etc
- Strong understanding of end-to-end app deployment processes, including deployment pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with generative AI technologies and frameworks is highly desirable
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing
- Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2)
