Site Reliability Engineer Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a profound passion for technology and a proven track record in enhancing site reliability through innovative solutions.

In this role, you will lead our team, drive SRE best practices, and spearhead major projects to elevate our organization's operational resilience and efficiency.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Linux operating systems for internet-facing production services
  • Implement and enhance telemetry with tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus
  • Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes issues setting best practices for the team
  • Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python
  • Build and operate container orchestration systems like Kubernetes or EKS
  • Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability
  • Champion and implement cutting-edge automation solutions
  • Provide leadership, effective communication, and foster a collaborative environment
  • Advocate for continuous learning and improvement across the team
  • Offer technical mentorship and support fostering efficient communication
  • Manage disaster recovery and capacity planning activities
  • Oversee deployment automation using Terraform or CloudFormation

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems and container orchestration with Kubernetes or EKS
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure architectures using AWS
  • Skills in Bash and Python for scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with telemetry tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus
  • Understanding of open-source technologies like Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, Postgres, and Redis
  • Capability to lead deployment automation using Terraform or CloudFormation
