We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a specialized focus on databases to enhance our development teams.
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in analyzing and managing data-driven projects, providing essential insights that shape our strategic business decisions. This role demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional capable of managing complex database systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze product roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Lead the exploration of complex functional requirements for product development
- Engage in the retrieval and analysis of data to establish key business metrics
- Promote and contribute to a SAFe Agile team culture
- Attend workshops and planning sessions to articulate business requirements
- Collaborate with UX teams to develop product feature mock-ups
- Document data requirements with data engineering and information architects
- Engage in release planning and end-to-end requirement articulation
- Provide support through development, testing phases, and product shipment
- Mitigate scope-related risks and independently provide user support
- Support overall estimation processes and articulate clear acceptance criteria
- Enhance product experience by identifying opportunities with the product team
- Showcase business value of features to stakeholders during sprint reviews
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in database management
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming languages like Java or Python
- Background in implementing and managing SAFe Agile Scrum projects
- Understanding of data transformation, testing, and end-user needs
- Knowledge of data analytics tools and methodologies
- Competency in articulating complex software requirements
- Skills in critical thinking and analytical reasoning
- Flexibility to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Capability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build consensus
- Qualifications in business analysis or a related field
Nice to have
- Background in data analytics (Big Data, Databricks, Data Lake)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools
- Familiarity with DevOps culture
