We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with Cloud experience to join us in Krakow.
You’ll work in the Banking Sector Engineering team, collaborating across Krakow and London. The role focuses on providing technology teams with guidance, support and solutions to implement a strategic architecture on public cloud services. You’ll contribute by sharing the architecture vision, assisting with solution design, creating code samples and documentation, and ensuring a smooth developer experience during cloud migration within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively across the organization
- Solve challenging problems in an elegant but pragmatic way
- Write high-quality, reusable code and adhere to coding standards
- Provide professional, clear and comprehensive documentation
- Apply best practices in development and DevOps, leveraging relevant technologies
Requirements
- Solid background in Java development
- Proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring and Tomcat
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Maven, Gradle, GitLab, etc
- Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Helm
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and the importance of automation
Nice to have
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Windows PowerShell, Bash, etc
- Familiarity with GitHub or similar platforms, and contributing to open-source projects
