Responsibilities
- Build, execute, and manage the vulnerability management program, ensuring continual identification, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with IT, network operations, application development, and compliance teams to drive effective resolution of vulnerability issues
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, providing recommendations and guidance for remediation measures
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation for vulnerability management in accordance with industry standards and compliance requirements
- Monitor vulnerability feeds, security advisories, and threat intelligence to stay ahead of emerging risks and trends
- Oversee vulnerability scanning operations, including setup, execution, and reporting across cloud-native environments and enterprise systems
- Support teams in deploying security patches, adjusting configurations, or implementing mitigation strategies
- Convey vulnerability management metrics, trends, and progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Respond to incidents related to identified vulnerabilities and assist in mitigation efforts
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role encompassing vulnerability management or information security
- Relevant degree, recognized cybersecurity certifications, or related experience
- Strong proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools like Prisma, Rapid7, Contrast, Defender, AWS Inspector, Wiz
- Knowledge of vulnerability management frameworks, penetration testing methodologies, and industry best practices
- Expertise in assessing and managing vulnerabilities across networks, applications, and cloud platforms
- Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail
- Communication and collaboration skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
