Senior Data Analyst Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong SQL and data manipulation skills, proficient in query development, with hands-on Tableau and data visualization experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the implementation and enhancement of data warehouses and the development of new ETL platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various business functions to understand their data processing needs and translate those requirements into automated, scalable solutions
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL pipelines using SQL and other relevant technologies
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards in Tableau and internal Google Dashboards platform
  • Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build and manage ETL solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Write complex SQL queries (internal Google data storage solutions + BigQuery) to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices in data warehousing, ETL, and data management, and apply those insights to your work

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, and Reporting
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering data warehouse projects across various business domains
  • Deep understanding and practical application of data warehousing best practices
  • Strong SQL and data manipulation skills, with the ability to write complex and efficient queries
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions, demonstrating a solid grasp of industry standards and best practices
  • Hands-on experience in data visualization and dashboards
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong self-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with minimal supervision
  • Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and software development methodologies (including unit testing)
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Excellent English communication skills (B2+ level or higher), both written and verbal, with experience in communicating directly with stakeholders
