Solution Architect I Description
We are seeking a talented Solution Architect I to join our dynamic team at a leading business information, analytics, and outsourcing services provider.
The role involves building application, data-centric, and integration solutions with an emphasis on Product and Platform architecture practices. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling multiple projects, have hands-on involvement, and possess a solid understanding of GeoSpatial technologies, ensuring the delivery of innovative and efficient solutions across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
- Lead design and architecture discussions for strategic initiatives including cloud, integration, and on-premises solutions
- Define the vision and requirements for solutions, recommend options, and select the most optimal solution
- Communicate architecture to stakeholders, collaborate with domain architects, and adhere to IT standards and procedures
- Validate and future-proof designs, involving internal and external vendors
- Conduct proof-of-concept integration solutions, quantify business values, and articulate the value proposition
- Document and diagram current and future state integration processes
- Develop and own solution designs, present solutions to the Architectural Review Board for evaluation and approval
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in architecture roles related to development, systems design, or technical architecture
- Strong competency in architectural standards and software development methodologies
- Proficiency in understanding of Technology systems, system design, API design, and database and programming concepts
- Understanding of architecture methodologies, BPR, technology trends, and software development life cycles
- Architecture Certification such as TOGAF or EACOE
- Cloud Platform and managed services expertise (ideally GCP and AWS)
- Expertise in Microservices, Event Mesh, Data pipelines
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Kafka, Elastic, CI/CD Pipelines, API-First, Observability
