Lead DevOps Engineer Description

Responsibilities

  • Modernize the existing platform built in Progress OpenEdge
  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including S3, EC2, and Lambda
  • Support development and automation of CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through best practices
  • Collaborate with software engineers to balance monolithic and microservices architectures
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and cost efficiency
  • Work closely with engineering, warehouse, and supply chain teams to support automation and AI enhancements
  • Maintain documentation and train internal teams on infrastructure best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Strong expertise in AWS services including S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda, and RDS
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar languages
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose system performance issues
  • Proficient in English

Nice to have

  • Experience in supply chain, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems
  • Background in Java
  • Familiarity with Progress OpenEdge
  • Proficiency in Terraform Cloud
  • Understanding of GitHub Actions
