Responsibilities
- Modernize the existing platform built in Progress OpenEdge
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including S3, EC2, and Lambda
- Support development and automation of CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through best practices
- Collaborate with software engineers to balance monolithic and microservices architectures
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and cost efficiency
- Work closely with engineering, warehouse, and supply chain teams to support automation and AI enhancements
- Maintain documentation and train internal teams on infrastructure best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong expertise in AWS services including S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda, and RDS
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar languages
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose system performance issues
- Proficient in English
Nice to have
- Experience in supply chain, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems
- Background in Java
- Familiarity with Progress OpenEdge
- Proficiency in Terraform Cloud
- Understanding of GitHub Actions
