Lead Data Support Engineer Description
We are seeking a highly capable Lead Data Support Engineer to coordinate support activities for an extensive data platform solution, utilizing a DevOps approach where development teams are also involved in support tasks.
The ideal candidate will provide leadership and technical expertise to enhance system efficiency, automation, and customer satisfaction.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities
- Identify automation and improvement opportunities, collaborating with the project team on implementation
- Oversee incident and problem management by project teams to ensure quality and success
- Assist with troubleshooting issues across teams
- Represent the support team in front of customers
- Serve as the primary escalation point for end users
- Assess user satisfaction and collaborate with users to pinpoint improvement areas
- Establish and lead a continuous improvement process
- Allocate proper capacity for support, root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement activities
- Perform basic troubleshooting to determine the area of responsibility
- Contribute to automation and self-service initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or data support environment
- Proficiency in Snowflake, Dagster, and SQL
- Background in Python, GitHub (including actions), and ADO
- Skills in Power BI
- Expertise in incident and problem management
- Understanding of customer satisfaction assessment
- Capability to act as a support representative and escalation point
- Flexibility to use various technologies and tools as per project requirements
