Senior Data Engineer (Python + Airflow) Description
Do you have a software engineering background and strong knowledge and experience in Python and Airflow? Are you an open-minded professional with good English skills? If it sounds like you, this could be the perfect opportunity to join EPAM as a Senior Data Engineer.
Our teams work in highly agile working environments for Fortune 1000 clients, following XP practices and best CI/CD practices. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with open-minded personality, who can join our friendly environment and become a core contributor to our team of experts. Also, to match with this position, the candidate needs to have experience in tools such as Apache Airflow, Python and Databases concepts.
Remote working from anywhere in Spain is welcome!

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Network Data hub platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the platform
- Ensure data security and confidentiality in the platform
- Provide technical assistance and support to stakeholders as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Python programming and extensive knowledge of ETL/ELT development, orchestration, and maintenance approaches
- Experience in unit testing of Airflow DAGs and data processing applications
- Expertise with state-of-the-art Big Data processing technologies (mostly batch, some streaming)
- Familiarity with core principles of data visualization
- Proficiency with Apache Airflow, PostgreSQL, S3 object storage standard, some data visualization (Grafana, Superset)
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Kafka, Spark, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, ELK stack, Loki, Apache Superset and Grafana
