In the role of Lead DevOps Engineer, you will engage in the proposal, prototype creation, design, and implementation of key components of the Pricing platform. This will involve collaboration with teams across the globe.

As a senior team member, you will provide thought leadership and technical expertise necessary to tackle challenging problems. Your experience will have equipped you with the skills to build and support vital components of products/platforms on a large scale.

Responsibilities

  • Developing scalable and high-performance distributed systems, encompassing all associated aspects such as availability, observability, and resiliency
  • Refining and constructing an end-to-end architecture for development, deployment, testing, monitoring, and support on the AWS platform
  • Participating in the resolution of production issues and leading the development of solutions
  • Contributing to the continuous rewriting, refactoring, and perfecting of code

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in leading technical designs, mentoring developers, and contributing to engineering maturity
  • An excellent problem solver and engineer with a profound understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing, and CI/CD
  • Passionate about the quality of work, demonstrating persistence and principle
  • Strong belief in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Chef, and others
  • Programming experience in one or more languages: Scala, Kotlin, Java, Python, Go
  • Experience in solving distributed computing problems, with a background in working with/on synchronous and asynchronous services in a microservices/distributed architecture platform
