Senior DevOps Engineer Description
We are seeking a remote skilled Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team, focusing on managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure while transitioning it under the umbrella of our Operations (Ops) Team.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes (K8S), and YAML, and is capable of working collaboratively within a global team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a critical phase of our cloud infrastructure development.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS
- Utilize Kubernetes (K8S) to orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency
- Develop and maintain YAML-based configuration files for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications
- Assist in the migration of existing infrastructure and services to the cloud environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the cloud infrastructure, working to optimize performance and ensure high availability
- Collaborate with the Operations (Ops) Team to ensure a smooth transition of cloud infrastructure management responsibilities
- Contribute to documentation efforts, providing clear and concise guidelines for cloud setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, demonstrating expertise in cloud infrastructure management and optimization
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8S) for container orchestration and management
- Solid understanding of YAML as a configuration format for defining cloud resources and Kubernetes manifests
- Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and best practices
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing infrastructure performance
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed team
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus
- Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Kubernetes certifications, are advantageous
