Senior Software Engineer Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET, C#, and WPF for our Client, an energy technology company specializing in oil field services and equipment.
You will work on a Desktop Application that utilizes both JEF/WPF and WinForms. You will have a chance to write new code and participate in the migration from WinForms to JEF/WPF. The MVVM pattern is widely used in the new frameworks, and SOLID is a core principle applied in any new code on this project.

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software using .NET, C#, WPF, WinForms, MVVM and work with asynchronous programming and multithreading
- Take ownership of the software development process
- Work with complex architecture and code and ensure the products remain “future-proof”
- Pro-actively contribute to continuously improving the code and development processes
- Add value to the team through your knowledge and programming skills and grow in achieving unique and outstanding performance
- Learn from your motivated and skilled colleagues and in turn sharing your knowledge
- Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent with significant experience in Software Development
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies including C# and Visual Studio
- Skills in working with WPF/JEF, WinForms
- Experience with MVVM pattern
- Familiarity with TypeScript
- Thorough knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design, unit testing, and best practices (e.g., SOLID, TDD, BDD, etc.)
- Experience working with complex structures, multi-threading, design patterns
- Experience with Scrum/Agile software development
- Excellent English communications skills (verbal and written)
