In this role, you will be embedded in our client’s product development team in Cupertino, California, influencing current and future generations of products.
Expertise in RF architecture, design, integration, and manufacturing are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have deep theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as electromagnetic theory, RF and wireless circuit design, communication theory, and product design trade-offs. This role requires using electromagnetic and system simulation, hands-on prototyping, testing, and measurement techniques to analyze complex system interactions, evaluate product-level design implications, and optimize manufacturing trade-offs for mass production.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute RF characterizations and test plans, automating test systems that include RF equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power amplifiers
- Conduct electromagnetic (EM) and RF circuit simulations to analyze characterization platforms
- Perform RF parametric data collection and conduct antenna measurements
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of RF hardware, EM systems, and antenna design
- Experience integrating wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, and NFC into products
- Proficiency with electromagnetic and circuit simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, ADS, Cadence)
- Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation
- Experience developing automation frameworks for automated test execution
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and shell scripting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be commutable to Cupertino, California (4-5 days/week on-site)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education/experience
- Relevant coursework or experience in antenna/RF design, wireless communications, electromagnetic systems, or circuits
