Lead Data Software Engineer (Python, Azure) Description
We are seeking a skilled Lead Data Software Engineer with expertise in the Azure Data stack to join our Data Practice at a British multinational consumer goods company.
As a Lead Data Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data systems. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your focus will be on ensuring seamless data integration, maintaining high-quality standards, and upholding data security within this dynamic domain.
It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop data solutions utilizing Azure Data stack, Azure Databricks and microservices pattern
- Create and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
- Ensure data quality and perform data cleansing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into various systems and applications
- Provide technical support for data access and delivery processes
Requirements
- Strong experience with Azure Data stack, Azure Databricks and Databricks
- Experience with Python and PySpark
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent English level required, B2 minimum

- Experience with Azure Data Lake Analytics
