Senior Accessibility Tester Description

We’re looking for a Senior Accessibility Specialist to join the distributed global team within one of the biggest EPAM accounts.

We are passionate about what we do — helping organizations use design to create valuable customer experiences across platforms and touchpoints. We value people who are optimistic and collaborative, who take ownership, talk less, do more, can learn from failure, and have the want to make others successful.

As a Senior Accessibility Tester, your role involves ensuring the quality assurance of assigned products for internal supervision of quality assurance. You will oversee the backlog of testing requests received and complete testing requests by performing accessibility testing on assigned products and report defects. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring testers, helping develop test plans and scripts, create documentation, and make recommendations based on themes and insights gathered via products tested and reporting insights. To be effective in this role, you must have an understanding of accessibility and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), strong working knowledge of assistive technology, automated testing tools, and demonstrated experience in accessibility testing. You also need a unique skillset of problem solving, strong communication, and working as part of a team. We promote an agile, collaborative, supportive environment where diverse thinking, innovative design, and experimentation is welcomed and encouraged.
