Senior Business Analyst Description
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our merchandising team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Business counterparts, Local and Regional IT departments, and several software vendors to erect solutions that cater to business needs, particularly in the areas of Master Data, Pricing, Promotions, and Assortment functions.

Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, define, and document detailed requirements to support project and business objectives focused on Master Data, Pricing, Promotions, and Assortment functions
- Create functional/technical requirement documents derived from business requirements
- Assist users in functional acceptance testing
- Assist in the release updates of new or existing applications to support project implementation
- Participate in the design and execution of implementation/configuration of retail and merchandising solutions
- Coordinate internal business and technical teams to finalize requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert in administering and supporting functional areas of responsibility during and after project implementation
- Provide functional/technical support to ensure systems are working effectively and efficiently
- Lead and organize training sessions for end users to facilitate change management in collaboration with the Regional IT department
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis
- Proficiency in retail and merchandising solutions
- Expertise in analyzing and documenting detailed requirements for Master Data, Pricing, Promotions, and Assortment functions
- Skills in creating thorough functional/technical requirement documents
- Understanding of the implementation and configuration processes for merchandising systems
- Background in providing user support and training
- Competency in coordinating cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
