Azure Support Engineer Description

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Azure Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our technology infrastructure to support our operations effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who is committed to delivering high-quality solutions and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, a well-equipped office in Tbilisi or coworking spaces in Batumi and Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Support end users via ServiceNow according to SLA
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Participate in production incidents, escalate to vendors and communicate effectively to resolve issues
  • Work according to an on-call schedule to provide 24x7 support
  • Communicate with L2 and development teams
  • Collaborate on development projects with clients
  • Enhance the existing Ops handbook with new cases
  • Process Azure extension requests
  • Create and support vendor tickets including Microsoft support requests and relevant Jira tickets
  • Continuously improve service processes and system performance

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes
  • Proficiency in Go language and Golang Functions
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

  • Experience with Linux systems
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Jenkins for automation
  • Experience with cloud platforms like GCP and AWS
  • Understanding of network principles and protocols
