Senior Data Engineer Description
We are excited to invite an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help us tackle challenging engineering problems while developing high-quality software.

Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code, ensuring robustness and efficiency
- Propose and implement effective solutions to complex business challenges
- Collaborate closely with team members to achieve shared objectives
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards across the team
- Provide accurate task estimates and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Maintain open lines of communication with clients as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering roles
- Proficiency in Scala or Java and Spark
- Competency in SQL for efficient data querying
- Understanding of Scrum methodology to adapt to agile work environments
- Expertise in test automation, including unit, integration, and acceptance tests
- Knowledge of English at an intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with DataBricks, AWS, and cloud services
- Background in Python programming
- Competency in database management using PostgreSQL
- Skills in handling NoSQL solutions
- Capability to utilize Maven for project management
