Lead Full-Stack Java Developer (Angular) Ukraine or Remote

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of J2EE applications
• Support and ensure efficient performance of product features and functionality
• Lead the modernization of Struts/JSP applications to Spring Boot and Angular
• Provide guidance and direction to development teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth
• Participate in Pager Duty, including weekends once a month
• Work until 12 PM CT to accommodate shifted hours for the project

Requirements

• Possession of more than five years of experience in the meticulous design, development, and testing of software
• A minimum of three years' experience leading software development teams is essential
• Proven ability as a self-starter with a proactive approach towards project management
• Demonstrated expertise in critical analysis and complex troubleshooting methodologies
• Recent active engagement with necessary technologies within the past year is mandatory
• Robust Java development capabilities are required
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the Spring framework is necessary
• Proficiency in creating and managing Stored Procedures with MSSQL is required
• Prior experience in successfully modernizing Java applications, specifically transitioning from Struts/JSP to Spring Boot and Angular 14.2.1, is crucial
• Capability to align business domain requirements with technical implementations
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

• Experience or familiarity with RETS dataset
• Background in the real estate industry
