We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead to join our team. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements
- Develop and maintain data models for the organization's data warehouse and data lake
- Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making processes
- Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of the organization's data assets
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on data-related projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions
- Drive the adoption of best practices and standards for data management and governance
- Lead and mentor junior members of the data analysis team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies
Requirements
- Mandatory prior relevant experience of minimum 7-10 years
- Knowledge of IT architecture and solution design in a data oriented ecosystem
- Exposure to Cloud native data platforms and modern architectures (event-driven, real-time)
- Thorough understanding of data lifecycle value chain and underlying components (ETL/ELT, DWH/Data Lake)
- Familiarity with SDLC tools & framework (CI/CD, Automation, monitoring)
- Experience with retail, marketing, supply chain and finance is a plus
- Working knowledge on data science development lifecycle
- Working knowledge on delivering projects in agile mode by using CI/CD capabilities and Azure DevOps pipelines
- Familiarity with Azure data ecosystem (ingestion, storage, analytics & data visualization): Azure Ingestion framework, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, MS PowerBI
- Data modelling skills (from logical to physical model, different modelling techniques: star schema, data vault) and exposure to MPP frameworks
- Knowledge of Functional and Technical architecture principles
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills
- Previous experience working in a scaled agile environment
- Teamwork skills and ability to operate within a large team in a matrix organization: involves others, shares knowledge and seeks opportunities for cross functional working and collaboration
- B2+ English level proficiency

- Agile/SAFe certification
- Certified Data Management Professional (DAMA)
- Azure Data Engineer experience or AWS/GCP equivalent
- Azure Solutions Architect experience or AWS/GCP equivalent
- Experience with retail, marketing, supply chain and finance
