Responsibilities
- Expertly use Puppet or Ansible for configuration management tasks, including creating and comprehending puppet modules and ansible playbooks
- Accurately comprehend the client's needs for migrating legacy or 3rd party applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Kubernetes, among others
- Collaborate effectively with the team to design a target state and devise a migration plan based on client needs
- Develop containerized versions of applications using technologies such as Docker, Fargate, EKS, or Kubernetes, in line with project specifications
- Establish seamless continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to efficiently deploy and manage application updates
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform to provision infrastructure resources, ensuring consistent and scalable solutions
Requirements
- Direct experience with Puppet/Ansible, including ability to craft and understand puppet modules
- Proficiency in Ruby
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Fargate, EKS, Kubernetes)
- Competency in Linux shell scripting
