DevOps Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer) Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our evolving Reliability Engineering team.
In this role, you will have complete ownership over the availability and performance of one of our critical shared services that supports over 100 services. This position requires a proactive individual passionate about system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Maintain AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Administration) domain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability
- Engage in capacity planning and scaling efforts to meet demand
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations as part of incident response teams
- Conduct blameless postmortems and root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a software engineering or DevOps role
- Background in Java programming languages with skills in reading and troubleshooting code
- Proficiency in incident troubleshooting and resolution
- Experience administering Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems
- Competency in working with at least one cloud platform, preferably Azure
Nice to have
- Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiarity with IBM Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Experience with IBM WebSphere system administration and tuning
